GUAA Session 1 Standouts

Here are few players we believe to be standouts at the Girls UAA Session 1:

 2022 6’2 Wing Nile Miller (Books & Basketball) Athletic wing that rebounds out of her area, finishes at the basket with great touch, and handles it well in transition. Miller also showed the ability to block/alter shots. 


2022 5’6 PG Tyra Myers #11 (SC 76ers) Plays with good pace while running the offense. High level shooter off ball screens as well as catch n shoot. Makes great decisions passing in traffic.  


2022 6’0 G Emily LaChapel (Wisconsin Flight)
Long guard with really High IQ. Guards multiple positions and rebounds well. Scores on multiple levels while also passing well in traffic.  


2022 6’3 F Amiya Joyner #10 (Team Curry)
Good athleticism, finishes at rim, also handles the ball in transition. Rebounds at high rate, blocks shots and can play with back to the basket.  

2023 5’8 PG Samyha Suffren #12 (Team Curry) Can Shoot it off the dribble as well as knock down the three. Nice handle, sees the floor well along with doing a good job with on ball defense.  


2022 6’1 F Talaysia Cooper (Team Curry) Big time athlete. Guard all positions. Can handle the ball. Blocks shots. Crafty around the rim and in transition. Finishes around the basket 


2022 5’7 G Acacia Hayes (Team B-Wright) Finishes extremely well. Can’t handle it under pressure. Good IQ. Rebounds well over bigger opponents. Can shoot from deep range at a high clip. Great in transition.


2023 6’0 W/F Paris Locke (Lady Thrill) Good size can finish around the basket and shoot the 3 and can guard multiple positions on the court.


2023 5’8 G Antionique Auston (Wisconsin Flight) Crafty guard with high IQ. Strong two way player that can guard multiple positions. Finishes well at the basket and can shoot the three.


2023 6’2 F Delaney Thomas (GTS Fusion) Plays with a high IQ on both ends of the floor. Can push in transition. Has the ability to score on all 3 levels with a strong back to the basket game. 


2022 6’0 F Georgia Heine (Team Rio) Moves well without the ball and can finish at the basket. Shoots the 3 and can handle the ball. Also can guard multiple positions on the defensive end.


2023 5’8 G Kennedy Sanders (Minnesota Fury) Very crafty around the rim and can finish well with both hands. She also has a nice mid-range  game and can stretch it out to the three point line.


2023 6’2 C Jailynn Brill (Nebraska Attack) Has good size and moves well. She can stretch the floor and make shots from 3 and also showed the ability to block and alter shots.


2023 5’9 W/F Fantasia James (FGB) Very athletic and aggressive rebounder who blocks shots. Handles the ball well and plays great from mid range area. Also can score it off the dribble and off the catch.

2023 6’1 C Jazmin Adams (BTR) Strong and aggressive rebounding the ball on both ends. Moves well in half court setting and in transition and sets good screens for teammates to get open.
