Defense continues to be one of the most valuable traits in winning basketball, and the players selected to the All-Defensive Team consistently impacted games with their toughness, effort, communication, and defensive versatility.

Whether applying pressure on the perimeter, protecting the paint, creating turnovers, or guarding multiple positions, these athletes brought a defensive mentality that changed games throughout the Grind Session season. Their activity, discipline, and willingness to compete on every possession stood out during evaluations by the UP staff.
