PROSPECT SPOTLIGHT-Aubrey Galvan

Prospect Spotlight

2025 5’6 PG Aubrey Galvan plays with a style that can be described as flashy. The way she dribbles through traffic and some of her passes are “must see”!

After a successful second year of high school which saw her take Deerfield High School on a nice playoff run, Galvan will look to do the same at Loyola Academy. She has continued to grow her game so far this summer and has picked up plenty of buzz surrounding her name. She’s a quick and shifty point guard who gets to her spots and has the ability to score over bigger defenders.

Galvan is a true PG and is always looking to find her open teammates. She does well facilitating for her team, but is also able to create her own shots. She scores well from all three levels and can be even more dangerous in the open court.

On the defensive end, Aubrey still impacts the game regardless of her small stature. She plays angles well when guarding and has quick hands helping her create turnovers for her team. She does a lot of the intangibles that coaches love and doesn’t mind mixing it up with bigger players.

Galvan plays the game with good pace and has a very high IQ. Look for her to continue her productive summer and have an outstanding junior year.
