ELISE HENEGHAN

FENWICK HIGH SCHOOL (IL)

2022 6’0 F Elise Heneghan wrapped up her sophomore season on a high note while receiving some accolades for the year. Heneghan was voted honorable mention in class 3A by the coaches and was well deserving of it. After progressing from her freshman year, she was able to expand on her game at Fenwick High School (IL). Elise is much more than a typical forward that plays in the post. She showcased the ability to score while facing up, as well as with her back to the basket. She’s very efficient in her offensive game from the elbows in and also can stretch it out from the arc. With her expanded range, Heneghan was able to score in a variety of ways, regardless of the ball being in her hands or receiving a pass. She’s excellent in sealing her opponents for lob passes and she can finish equally with both hands. A big attribute for Elise is her rebounding. She tracks and reads the ball well off the rim and also boxes out effectively. Most times she’s at the top of the rebounding category in the box scores and understands the importance of being strong in the paint. Heneghan is an integral piece to the success of her team now and in the future.
